The Troy-Bilt Pony 42 Riding Lawn Mower is a practical residential lawn tractor designed to make routine mowing faster and more comfortable. It combines a dependable 547cc Troy-Bilt single-cylinder engine with a wide 42-inch twin-blade cutting deck, making it suitable for lawns measuring up to approximately 1.5 acres.

Its seven-speed Shift On The Go™ continuously variable transmission allows the operator to select an appropriate travel speed using a clearly positioned dashboard lever. This makes it easier to slow down when working around trees, garden beds and landscape borders, then select a faster speed when mowing open sections of the yard.

The 42-inch stamped-steel deck uses two cutting blades to provide broad, even cutting coverage.
