Its 42-inch stamped-steel cutting deck features two cutting blades, optimized blade overlap, and a deep-dome design that promotes strong airflow and consistent grass cutting. The compact 42-inch width provides efficient lawn coverage while remaining maneuverable around trees, garden beds, fences, pathways, and other landscaping obstacles.

The deck offers 15 cutting-height positions ranging from 1 to 4.5 inches, allowing the operator to create the preferred lawn finish for different grass varieties and seasonal conditions. Deck height is adjusted through a foot-assisted lift system and an easy-to-use dial, helping reduce operator effort when changing cutting settings. Two anti-scalp gauge wheels help protect the lawn when mowing across uneven areas.

Dual hydrostatic transmissions provide smooth, independent control of the rear wheels through ergonomic lap bars.
